Surrender is generally seen as a bad thing, giving up or
quitting even more so. We are taught to stick with it, see it through, tough it
out, or else. It is seen as weakness. Even the idea of surrendering to God is
taboo. We need to be our own person, controlled by no one, dependent on no one.
How do we reconcile that with being called to submit and even surrender to God?

Fully Surrendered
Surrender is generally seen as a bad thing, giving up or
quitting even more so. We are taught to stick with it, see it through, tough it
out, or else. It is seen as weakness. Even the idea of surrendering to God is
taboo. We need to be our own person, controlled by no one, dependent on no one.
How do we reconcile that with being called to submit and even surrender to God?

Does Your Faith Transform?
After this talk about temptation, sin and confession, some
might ask if all that is necessary after salvation. What role does that play in
faith? If I am already forgiven, and can’t be saved by what I do, does it
matter what I do? Isn’t faith enough so that I don’t have to worry about the
rest?

Don't Be His Mom
What I've Learned in Marriage 13--I have seen the adage that “a woman
doesn’t need kids because she has a husband” and it definitely seems true in
some cases, but I don’t think that should be our attitude. Whether your husband
acts like a child or not, it is not your job to be his mom. He already has one
and it’s not you.
I am passionate about learning and my faith, so I combine the two. My greatest goal is to daily grow to be more like Christ, and to help others do the same.
