For
I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities,
nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be
able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:38-39 New American Standard
Bible (NASB)
Nothing can separate us from
God’s love. It doesn’t matter what we do, or what others do, He will always
love us. We may still face the consequences of our actions, and even discipline
for what we do wrong, but that is part of His love for us. Every loving parent
disciplines His child. If God did not discipline us that would be proof that He
doesn’t love us or that we are not His children. God is not emotionally
unstable, moody, fickle or volatile. He can’t be made to change His mind about
us, nor can anything the devil says or does make Him act any differently. Nor
does this mean that He loves mankind collectively but not individually. He
loves each and every person for who they are because He made them purposefully.
He loves you for who you are because He made you intimately and purposefully.
Let that sink in and believe it. Let it change the way that you see Him,
yourself and others.
