Therefore if
anyone is in Christ, he is a
new creature; the old things have passed away; behold, new things have come.

A new creature…it doesn’t say rebuilt, patched or fixed. It
says new. You are brand new when you become Christ’s. You have cast away
the old (sin) nature like dirty clothes and have put on Christ, allowing Him to
live in you and control your life. He has the power to completely heal you from
your sins and wrongs that have been done to you. You don’t have to live under
them any more. You can be rid of it. They do not have to define or bind you any
longer. Let Christ make you new. Seek Him for healing and restoration. He has
the power and the desire to make you new, to heal your heart. Let Him do it.
Put on Christ and put away the past.
