The name of the Lord is a strong
tower, the righteous runs into it and is safe.

In Biblical times, towers were fortresses, places of refuge from enemies. The name of the Lord is a strong tower. He is faithful, powerful, merciful, and wise. There is complete strength in Him. Those who run to Him, take refuge in Him, are safe because He is good. He is powerful enough to defeat our enemies and wise enough to guide us. He has mercy enough to forgive our sins, and continue to love us regardless of what we have done. He is faithful enough to trust implicitly. Run to Him and be safe.
